What’s the cost of renting a power bank?

We charge you 0.4€ per every half an hour that the power bank is in your hands for the first three hours. After that, we have a fixed fee of 4€ per day. For example, if you were to use the power bank for 45 minutes, you would be charged 0.8€.

What’s the most that I can be charged?

The maximum you can be charged in a day is 4€. If you were to hold the power bank for a week, we would consider it a non-return and would charge you 28€, but the power bank would be yours to keep.

How do I rent and return a power bank?

To rent a power bank, you have two options. The easiest would be to use the CROCharge app to scan the QR code on the station. Alternatively, you can use the app to request a power bank at your current location. Keep in mind the second option might require some help from you to determine what’s the station next to you depending on the location services quality. In both scenarios, a power bank will be released from its slot for you to use.

To return a power bank, simply find a station near you and put it into an empty slot.

How do I find your station with empty slots near me?

On the CROCharge app, you have a map with the locations and number of empty slots of all of the stations near you. You can decide to let the app navigate you to the nearest one, or you can choose a station that the app will navigate you towards.

I rented a power bank, but it’s not working, what should I do?

For the first 5 minutes, the rental is free, so you can return the power bank and not be charged. We would kindly ask you to report this to us by sending an email to crocharge@gmail.com.

If you have noticed it’s not working after those first 5 minutes, you can contact us at the same email address and you will be refunded.

What devices can be charged?

The power banks are equipped with a USB-C, a micro-USB, and a Lightning cable. You can charge any device compatible with those cables.

What if a CROCharge station is full or empty?

Please contact our team at CROCharge@gmail.com. For the time being, you can see what stations you can use given their occupancy at the CROCharge app.
